Chef Jafer Louahdi has been cooking
professionally for over 20 years.
Born in a Mediterranean city in Algeria and
raised in Roanne, a small town in the
Roannais in France,
he inherited his family’s food traditions and
love for cooking and the region provided a
perfect environment for learning the
fundamentals of Cuisine Lyonnaise.

As a young man he came to the United
States, he worked in fine dining
establishments eventually managing some
top restaurants and hotels from New York
to California.

He returns each year to France to enhance
his skills by training in three star Michelin
restaurants and connecting with the local
craftsmen, the bakers, chocolatiers and
pastry chefs.

For the past eight years he has been
working exclusively as a private chef for Bay
Area personalities and now wants to share
his love of food with local families,
individuals and the business community.
